Jerusalem Conquest - Who will get it in the end?

Jerusalem has been the center of conflict for centuries. This Text Based RPG seeks to take you back to the time where Saladin led the Muslims into battle against the European Templars for the land that surrounded the Holy City. The Jews at the time were sadly pitted in between, but in this game they have a fighting chance against both the Templars and Saladin's men.

RPG Reviews News: Where I Had Been

Some days, travel was rough. The weather of this new territory was very different from that of Damascus or Ur. She was constantly cold, more often than not wet, and almost always, she could hear whispers around her when she went into the village centers on market days to set up her stall.

"Is that..?"

"I think so..."

"I thought they were dead!"

Some days, she couldn't stand that constant chatter, and had to move on to another place. Sometimes business would be good. Sometimes not. Today was one of those days when it could go either way.

She had accepted the young woman's 3 gil for the reading. She was young, as well as somewhat clean, like she had bathed within the last two months. And Piq could smell money coming from this one. Probably the young woman wanted her court romance.

Well, Piq could do that. She had done everything the way she normally had, traced the woman's soft palm (that hand had never known a plow!) and used the tiles in on her table to tell the woman that she was bound to have a long, beautiful life, with many children. But this one was not to be fooled so easily, was she? When pressed, Piq had to admit what she had really seen. A quiet death, alone, and old. The long life was a given, but there was to be no man at her side. No children.

The woman was barren, and Piq knew it.

And soon her table had been overturned, and the woman shrieked, pointing at her, screaming, "Witch! She's a hag, trying to charm me! She's trying to make me follow her orcish gods! The pagan!"

'Oh dear.'
